Zinc Sulfate is a mineral used for the treatment or prevention of low levels of zinc.

Using Zinc Sulfate:

This medication must be taken by mouth as directed by the doctor or on the pack information. It must be taken one hour before or two hours after meals. Some people whose stomach gets upset with this medication can take it with food. This drug must be swallowed whole, and must not be chewed or crushed. After taking this medicine, do not take milk, grains, cereals or bran till two hours. This medication gives the most benefit if taken regularly. People must take it at same time, each day in order to make it a habit.
